Push Lock Hose
BJR Performance Push Lock Hose
BJR's Push Lock Hose constructed with a high temperature Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber, offers maximum flexibility, weight savings, and ease of installation. Works well with AN fittings and is perfect for oil or coolant!
These are for use with coolants, oil, air, methanol, and fuel systems, such as E85, E10, lubricants. Temperature range is -40º C to +100º C
These hoses are not recommended for use with transmission or power steering systems. These oils contain detergents that can cause the hose to fail, resulting in a major spill and/or hazard. We also do not recommend using these with fuel as certain chemicals can cause the hose to swell, loosening the locking system and cause the hose to come off of the fitting.
There are some questions & answers for this hose
Question: What is push lock hose?
Answer: Push-Lok hose, also called push-on hose, is used with field-attachable fittings for quick and easy 'field' assembly with no crimper required. It is commonly used on low pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems and general industrial, maintenance, and automotive applications.
Question: How does a push lock work?
Answer: They lock the knob so it can't be turned from the outside. The inside button engages a mechanism that locks the outside knob, but not the inside. Turning the inside knob disengages the mechanism. Usually in the center of the outside knob is a small hole.
Question: How much pressure can push lock fittings hold?
Answer: This type of assembly can typically handle pressures of up to roughly 24 bar (350 psi), depending on the hose's capabilities.
Question: What's the operation pressure?
Answer: Operation pressure is 250PSI
